How long does the filming take?

Filming will generally take 2 days, depending on lighting conditions .

Is the filming dependent on the weather?

Yes. We want your course to look the best that it can do and the weather can play a big part in this. Therefore, we will plan to do the filming on a day which is convenient to you when the forecast is predicted to be good.

Do I need to provide anything for the shoot?

We will have to bring along a lot of  equipment and a buggy will be essential to enable us to transport this around the course.

Is the filming disruptive?

We understand that we have to fit around the normal workings of the golf club and we will aim to cause the minimum amount of disruption to members and visitors playing the course on the days of the filming. We would recommend that members are informed of the filming prior to the day and any visitors are made aware that filming is taking place when they arrive. This is particularly important because the video will show members and visitors playing the course and you will need to ensure that everyone is aware of this and are happy to be filmed.

Are you insured?

Yes, we hold public liability insurance up to €2.7 million.

Do you hold the necessary approvals to carry out aerial work?

Yes, Páid Bates is a fully licensed  RPAS ( Remotely piloted aircraft systems) pilot and has gained approval from the Irish Aviation Authority  and holds an aerial works permit. This is a legal requirement in Ireland and it shows that we are able to operate safely.

What about choosing music?

The video will be set to royalty free music , of which you can choose from a selection provided by us.

Can I include a voiceover?

Yes. As well as music maybe you would like to get your club professional to talk through the holes, why not give it a try and make it unique to your club.

How long will it take?

We will deliver your video to you within two/three weeks of filming.

Can I make changes to the edit?

Yes. We will edit the video according to your brief, upload a draft of it for you to view online, and give you the opportunity to suggest changes. We are very flexible

Can you host the videos for me?

We can host your video on our YouTube channel, with a window on your website , this allows for viewers to stream the video rather than downloading it which is much faster.  We will provide a link to your website administrator in this case.

What sort of equipment do you use?

SkyPix Aerial Works use a technologically advanced unmanned aerial vehicle to capture high quality photography and video imagery capable of shooting video in up to 4K .
